Design Originality Disclosure
Where every line starts with a pencil, not a preset.
This page sets out, in plain terms, how our clip art is actually made — what's drawn from scratch in-house, what licensed production tools we rely on along the way, and exactly what your purchase entitles you to do with the files you receive.
Transparency, before you ever click “buy”
Many digital clip art shops build their bundles partly from licensed base brushes, vector packs or fonts, rather than illustrating every element completely from scratch, and buyers are rarely told which is which. We think that's the wrong way round.
This Design Originality Disclosure explains, in specific and honest terms, how JUFUNG's illustrations are created: what our studio draws and designs ourselves, what licensed production tools and typefaces we use in support of that process, and — most importantly — exactly what the licence you receive when you buy a bundle does and does not cover.
We're publishing this because we sell finished digital artwork, not a promise, and we think you're entitled to know precisely what you're purchasing before you hand over your details.
From blank page to finished PNG
A short walk through the three stages every JUFUNG bundle passes through before it reaches the shop.
1. Sketch & concept
Every character, pose and scene begins as an original sketch by our illustrators — on paper or directly on a drawing tablet. Nothing at this stage is generated, traced from stock, or produced by AI image tools.
2. Ink, colour & render
Approved sketches are refined into clean linework and coloured with our own JUFUNG palette, using industry-standard vector and illustration software. Any supporting production elements — textures, brush tips or typefaces used only for promotional layout — are covered by commercial-use licences.
3. Export & quality check
Each design is exported as a high-resolution, transparent-background PNG and checked against the listing images before it goes on sale, so what you preview is exactly what you receive.
What's original, and what's a licensed production aid
Original artwork
The character designs, linework, expressions, poses, colour palettes and overall compositions in every JUFUNG bundle are conceived and illustrated in-house by our studio. We do not resell existing stock clip art repackaged under the JUFUNG name, and no artwork in our catalogue is produced by AI image generation.
Licensed production elements
Where our workflow uses supporting elements such as brush tips, paper-grain textures, or typefaces used to set the text on our promotional or listing graphics, these are sourced under commercial-use licences that permit exactly this application. They are minor production aids, never the subject of a listing — the characters and scenes themselves are always drawn by us.
Commercial licensing on file
JUFUNG LTD holds valid, in-force commercial-use licences for every third-party brush set, texture or font used anywhere in our production process. We do not use any asset under a personal-use-only, editorial-only, or non-commercial licence in a product we sell.
No copyrighted characters or brands
Every character we sell is our own creation. We do not illustrate, reference, or imply any affiliation with existing franchises, cartoons, brands, or trademarked characters belonging to other companies.
What this means in one sentence
When you buy from JUFUNG, you are buying artwork that our studio designed and illustrated, produced with the help of properly licensed tools and typefaces — not a repackaged stock library, and not an AI-generated collection presented as hand-drawn work.
What your purchase covers — and what it doesn't
Buying a JUFUNG bundle gives you a licence to use the finished PNG files we deliver. It does not transfer ownership of the artwork, and it does not extend to the tools, fonts or brushes we used to make them. Full terms sit in our Terms of Service.
Included in your licence
- Use of the finished, delivered PNG artwork in personal and small-business commercial projects, such as cards, planners, packaging, apparel and sublimation items, as set out in our Terms of Service.
- Use across multiple projects and products you create and sell yourself, without paying us again per project.
- Lasting access to your purchased files from your order confirmation, for your own use.
Not included in your licence
- Ownership or copyright in the underlying artwork, or in any third-party brush, texture or font we used to create it — JUFUNG LTD retains authorship throughout.
- The right to extract, isolate, or redistribute any base brush, texture or typeface used in our production process as a standalone asset.
- Reselling, sharing, or redistributing our raw PNG files as clip art, templates, or a competing digital product, in whole or in part.
What you see on the listing is what you download
Direct exports, not renders
Preview images on our product listings are direct exports of the actual artwork files delivered, at true colour and detail — not exaggerated mock-ups.
Mock-ups are labelled
Where we show a design placed onto a mug, card or garment for context, that mock-up is clearly presented as a usage example, not as the item you are purchasing.
Contents listed in full
Every listing states exactly which files and formats are included in the bundle, so there are no surprises after checkout.
