Acceptable Use Policy
Using our artwork, the right way.
Every JUFUNG bundle is hand-drawn by us, licensed to you. This page sets out, in plain language, what you're free to do with the files you buy, what isn't allowed, and how we handle it when the rules are broken.
What this policy covers
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to every JUFUNG PNG and JPG clip art file, bundle or preview image made available through jufung.shop, and to everyone who downloads, views or handles them — whether you're a hobbyist crafter, a print-on-demand seller, or a small studio buying on behalf of a client. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and does not replace it; where the two overlap, both apply together.
Who it applies to
Anyone who purchases, downloads or previews artwork from jufung.shop, including customers in the United Kingdom, the United States and elsewhere.
What it covers
Every PNG and JPG illustration file, product preview image, mock-up and character design sold or displayed on our storefront.
Why it exists
To keep our illustrations original, fairly priced and worth making. Every rule below exists to protect that, not to make crafting difficult.
Who owns the artwork
JUFUNG LTD (Company No. 17183733) holds full copyright in every design. Buying a bundle grants a licence to use it — it does not transfer ownership of the artwork itself.
What you're free to do with your files
When you buy a JUFUNG bundle, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the artwork in your own creative and commercial projects. In everyday terms:
Personal & craft projects
Cards, scrapbooks, journals, nursery prints and other one-off personal projects, printed or digital.
Small business end-products
Apparel, stickers, decals, sublimation items and similar physical goods you make and sell in reasonable, non-industrial quantities.
Cricut & Silhouette crafts
Cutting, layering and adapting the artwork for your own die-cut and vinyl projects.
Planner & digital design use
Incorporating the artwork into planner spreads, digital stickers or design mock-ups that you sell as finished, non-editable images.
Print-on-demand shop drops
Using the designs as part of a genuine POD storefront, where the artwork is baked into a finished physical product rather than sold as a file.
Client work, with credit to you
Using the artwork within paid design work for a client, so long as the finished product — not the raw file — is what's delivered.
What you can't do with our files
These rules exist because our designs are original artwork, not a stock library. Breaching any of them puts your account and licence at risk, as set out further down this page.
Sharing or uploading the files
Do not upload, share or post any JUFUNG PNG or JPG file — edited or unedited — to free clip art sites, cloud-sharing links, Discord servers, forums, torrents or any other platform where someone else could obtain the file without buying it from us.
Reselling the files as-is or bundled
Our artwork may not be resold, re-licensed or given away as a digital download — on its own, repackaged into a "new" bundle, or hidden inside a larger pack of unrelated files, on Etsy, Creative Market, a marketplace, or your own site.
Building a competing clip art business
You may not use our designs, or close variations of them, as the basis of your own clip art, graphics or design-asset store that competes with JUFUNG, or submit them to any AI model or dataset for training purposes.
Claiming the artwork as your own
You may not register, trademark, or claim copyright, authorship or "original design" credit over any JUFUNG illustration, including on print-on-demand platforms that ask you to confirm you own the artwork.
Using it as a logo or trademark
Our characters and illustrations may not be registered as a trademark, logo or brand mark for any business, product line or organisation.
Unlawful, hateful or explicit use
Our artwork may not be used in any way that is illegal, defamatory, sexually explicit, hateful or harmful, or that misrepresents JUFUNG's involvement or endorsement of a product.
Fair use keeps checkout open for everyone
Beyond how the artwork itself is used, this policy also covers how our store is used. Placing an order that you do not intend to honour, opening multiple accounts to bypass a suspension, or using automated tools, bots or scripts to scrape, mass-download or repeatedly access our catalogue is not permitted.
Chargebacks or payment disputes filed after you have already downloaded and used your files, without first contacting us to resolve the issue, are treated as a breach of this policy in the same way as any other misuse, and may result in the licence for that order being withdrawn.
We reserve the right to limit, suspend or close any account where we reasonably believe these rules are being broken, in line with the enforcement steps set out below.
What happens if this policy is breached
We'd always rather resolve a misunderstanding than escalate one. Here's the process we follow when a breach is reported or discovered.
We review the report
Every report of misuse, whether flagged by a customer, another creator or our own monitoring, is reviewed against this policy before any action is taken.
We contact you
Where possible, we'll email the account holder to explain the concern and give a reasonable opportunity to remove or correct the misuse.
Licence & account action
Unresolved or serious breaches — such as redistribution or resale — result in the licence for the affected files being revoked and the account being suspended or closed.
Further legal steps
For copyright infringement, unauthorised distribution or fraud, we may pursue the legal remedies described in the next section, including a DMCA takedown.
The legal side, in plain terms
Copyright stays with JUFUNG
All artwork sold through jufung.shop remains the copyright of JUFUNG LTD under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (UK) and applicable United States copyright law. A purchase licenses the use of a design; it never transfers ownership of the underlying artwork.
Consequences of infringement
- Immediate revocation of your licence and account access
- A formal takedown request to the platform hosting the infringing material
- A claim for damages, including our legal costs, where infringement causes us loss
- Referral to the relevant authorities in cases of suspected fraud
Unauthorised distribution
Uploading our files to a free-sharing site or file-locker, or distributing them outside your own licensed order, is treated as copyright infringement, not a licence dispute, and is dealt with accordingly under UK and US copyright law.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales for our UK customers. Nothing here limits the statutory copyright protections available to us, or to you as a consumer, under the law of your own country.
DMCA & copyright takedown process
If you believe JUFUNG artwork — or your own copyrighted work — has been used or shared without permission, here's how we handle it, in line with the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act and the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
Send us a notice
Email support@jufung.shop with the subject line "Copyright Notice", describing the artwork and where it has appeared without authorisation.
We aim to acknowledge and act on valid notices within one business day.
Identify the work
Tell us which JUFUNG design, or which of your own copyrighted works, is involved — a product link or file name is ideal.
Show us where it appeared
Provide the URL, screenshot or listing where the unauthorised copy can be found.
Confirm your details
Include your name, contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is unauthorised.
We review and act
We review every notice, remove or disable access to any infringing content we control, and take the enforcement steps described above against the account responsible.
Counter-notice
If you believe content was removed in error, you may reply with a counter-notice explaining why; we'll review it in good faith before making a final decision.
Spotted a misuse, or have a question about your licence?
We'd rather hear about a concern directly than find it ourselves. Every message goes to a real person — we aim to reply within one business day.
